FOR DETROIT PEOPLE MOVER STATION ELEVATOR AND ESCALATOR INSTALLATION

The Detroit Transportation Corporation (DTC) requests sealed bids from qualified firms to manufacture, deliver and install one (1) elevator and two (2) escalators at its Grand Circus Park People Mover station.  Firms capable of performing to rail industry standards are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Sealed bids must be received by the Detroit Transportation Corporation, Purchasing Office, Buhl Building, 535 Griswold, Suite 400, Detroit, MI 48226 on or before 10:00 a.m. (EST), July 8, 2014.  Bids will be opened and read at 2:00 p.m. (EST), July 8, 2014.  A pre-bid conference and site visit are scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. (EST) at the aforementioned address. Firms participating in the site visit must bring personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, etc.) for access to the site.

 

Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the DTC Invitation for Bid (IFB) 03-2014.  Bids received after 10:00 a.m. (EST), July 8, 2014 will be returned to the sender unopened.  No bid, once submitted, may be withdrawn for 120 days after the due date.

 

DTC reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, at its discretion, subject to the rules and regulations set forth by the DTC, the State of Michigan and the United States Department of Transportation.  The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Firms or individuals whose names appear on the U.S. Comptroller Generalís list of ineligible contractors will not be considered.  DTC affirmatively assures that no bidder will be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, ancestry, marital status, national origin, place of birth, or sexual orientation.

 

The IFB will be available on Monday, June 23, 2014.  Firms interested in receiving a copy of the IFB should furnish their contact information (i.e., company name, contact personís name, mailing address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address) via e-mail to Pamela L.  FOR STATION POWER WASHING AND CLEANING SERVICES

The Detroit Transportation Corporation (DTC) requests sealed bids from qualified firms to perform station power washing and deep cleaning services in the Detroit People Mover (DPM) system.  The Detroit People Mover (DPM) is a fully automated transit system serving the downtown Detroit core.  The system consists of a 2.9-mile single-lane elevated concrete guide way loop, twelve (12) rail cars, thirteen (13) passenger stations, and the Maintenance and Control Facility (MCF). 

 

Sealed bids must be received by the Detroit Transportation Corporation, Purchasing Office, Buhl Building, 535 Griswold, Suite 400, Detroit, MI 48226 on or before 5:00 p.m. (EST), July 14, 2014.  A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).
