Holiday Weekend Service Advisory
The Detroit Transportation Corporation announces that the Detroit People Mover (DPM) will operate extended hours over the long Memorial Day weekend to transport fans and festivalgoers to all of the activities downtown.
The normal schedule is in place for Friday and Saturday, with service until 2:00AM. DPM will run earlier and close later, from 11:00AM-1:00AM on Sunday, May 27, and 10:00AM-1:00AM on Monday, May 28 to accommodate the Tigers games, the Movement festival and pop-up shopping.
The administrative office will be closed on Monday. Standard operating and business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 29.

Detroit People Mover was constructed in 1987 as part of a planned, regional transportation system.
Fare is 75 cents per ride. Any combination of U.S. nickels, dimes and quarters or one DPM token may be used for entry. Tokens are available in all DPM stations. Children, ages five and under ride free. The DPM is accessible to elderly and disabled persons.
