DETROIT / Sept. 1/ / Plans to navigate Woodward Ave. and downtown Detroit this weekend? Street closures and directions have you beat? No worries; Jazz Festival sounds are steps away with the Detroit People Mover (DPM). Trains will arrive every 3-4 minutes, with the following operating schedule:
Friday, September 1 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Saturday, September 2 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Sunday, September 3 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Monday, September 4 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Patrons are advised to park near one of the 13 People Mover stations and exit closest to the festival staging. To view a DPM system map, please visit www.thepeoplemover.com.

Detroit People Mover was constructed in 1987 as part of a planned, regional transportation system.
Fare is 75 cents per ride. Any combination of U.S. nickels, dimes and quarters or one DPM token may be used for entry. Tokens are available in all DPM stations. Children, ages five and under ride free.
