Also consider connecting with public transit.  The People Mover will still get you directly into Cobo Center, but there are various options for travel downtown.  DDOT buses converge at the Rosa Parks Transit Center (Times Square Station), or travel from Midtown, cross the street and board the People Mover from the QLine (at Grand Circus Park, Cadillac Center or Financial District Stations).  Also SMART Bus’ new FAST Michigan drop you near People Mover stations on routes to/from Downtown: Troy to Downtown (FAST Woodward ), Airport to Downtown (FAST Michigan) and Mt. Clemens to Downtown (FAST Gratiot).
